Culture is the total deposit of knowledge,beliefs,attitude,morals,experience,concept of the universe,values,religion,notion of time,material objects and possessions acquired by a group of people in the course of generations through individual and public means.
Africans no doubt have the richest culture in the world with the vast tribes/group each having its own unique characteristics .African culture is expressed in arts & crafts,clothing,cuisine,music, folklore,religion and languages.
As diverse as the African culture is there are still certain similar characteristics that most of them share ,like respect for the aged,morals,love for culture e.t.c
In African art the object is not as important as the soul force behind the creation of the object.All art must be collective,committing and functional.African folklore provides insight to outsider about the community beliefs,views,customs and moral core.For people within the group ,it allows them encompass their group’s uniqueness.
In various African cuisine locally available fruit,cereal grains and vegetables are used to prepare local dish,drink and herbs.
